Most people think that being a pharmacy technician is not a very fruitful profession. But they don’t understand that this is a great job. A pharmacy technician is one who works in the pharmacy for a licensed pharmacist. They work directly under the supervision of a licensed and qualified pharmacist. Along with working in the pharmacy there are other related jobs that he performs such as providing prescribed drugs and medicines and other health care products to the people. Some pharmacy technicians also work in doctor’s offices, medical and insurance companies. There work is not stressful or tough unless they work in a pharmacy of a hospital. But at times their work can be for long hours which may be tiring for them. The job is relatively easy as compared to other medical or hospital related professions, but the earning is not as high as the professionals of other medical fields.
